AdSense Revenue - The ideal Google AdSense page should have excellent content which can be an article or an honest review of a product or service. If you want to achieve some success earning substantial AdSense revenue as a publisher, you must take what sometimes feel like extremely painful steps to make sure that you are really clear about the subjects that you write about. You must carefully research you keywords and choose the most profitable keywords with the most monthly searches that you can find. The bottom line is, if you do want to generate good AdSense revenue from your articles or reviews, it's imperative that you do choose your keywords very carefully.
Also, if you want long term success, make sure that you do not even consider trying to 'trick' Google. Don't generate a page on one subject and give it a file name about a diverse topic just to attract expensive ads to your pages. This can and will get you banned from the AdSense program.
1. Generate Good Content - In a nutshell, you need to make certain that the page that you generate offers excellent value to readers interested in your subject and at the same time is good fodder for the search engine spiders. When you offer superb info on a particular subject, your visitors will benefit and will be a lot more likely to click through to relevant AdSense ads.
designed to take your money and give you nothing in return.
2. Select the Right Ad Format - Most of us are ad blind due to the far too many horizontal banner advertisements we have seen over the years up at the top of pages. Thus, Google recommends that you select the vertical not horizontal ad formats to display your AdSense ads on your site. If you take a look at the Google search results pages, you will see that Google displays their ads down the right side of their pages vertically.
3. Location, Location, Location - It is to your financial advantage to put the AdSense ads near the top of your pages on the right side. Ensure that there is sufficient "breathing room" i.e. white space around the advertisements to ensure that they will easily attract your visitors.
4. Do this at Your Peril - The latest marketing tests have revealed that placing pictures beside, or above your advertisements can have a massive impact on click-thru rates. This is due to the fact that the eye is immediately attracted to the picture which due to being so close to the ads, makes the ads noticeable making it almost irresistible to click on them. A word of warning though, Google has made this practice forbidden and if they catch you placing pictures close to the AdSense ads for the sole purpose of attracting clicks, they will close your account.
5. Do NOT do This - I know that it is tempting to click on the AdSense ads displayed on your page but just don't. If you get caught by Google, your account will immediately be terminated and there is nothing you can tell Google to try to justify your actions.
Google has some of the smartest engineers around writing code that can detect most attempts at trying to beat the system. If it's a well known practice that you know Google does not agree with, you are better off not even trying it. But be very careful because even if it is something that you figured out yourself to work, but you know deep down that it's not one hundred percent legit, don't do it because sooner or later these "smarties" will find out and when they do, you better be ready to replace your AdSense revenue with another earning model.
